What is it about Tuscany that has made it one of the well-known places in the popular imagination today? In an effort to try and find an answer and maybe some of the essence of the Tuscan people and their spirit, in March of 2005 Roberto Bechi of Asciano and I began a video interview project and during the 2 months we were in Siena we videotaped nearly a dozen individuals from all walks of life in Tuscany, talking about their lives, their jobs and their thoughts about what the future of Tuscany may be. You can listen to excerpts from the taped interviews. Just click here!
